Eligibility

Groups must be registered with South Dublin County Public Participation Network (SDCPPN)
The Applicant Group must be a Tidy Towns or other Voluntary Group that undertakes similar activities such as a Resident Association.
The proposed project must focus on climate action, biodiversity and/or environmental enhancement
The proposed project must include collaboration with at least one other community stakeholder group (local schools, youth clubs, sports clubs, Men's Sheds, Women's Sheds and many more).
Your group and collaborating group must be based in the South Dublin County Administrative Area.

Terms and Conditions of the LEAF Scheme:

Permissions from the landowner must be provided where relevant prior to release of funds.
Applications, that require planning permission and consents where relevant should be in place at the time of application.
Award decisions will consider a balanced distribution of grants across geographical areas.
The decision to award a grant rests with SDCC whose decision shall be final.
Restrictions and Drawdown:
Drawdown of the grant shall only issue provided the applicant is in compliance with the following -
- SDCC Procurement processes must be adhered to.
- Invoices, receipts and photos of completion to be furnished
- Final inspection and full compliance report to be provided
- All work must be completed and final reports submitted by 11th December 2026
